Published in The Muskogee Phoenix February 21, 2016 CITY OF MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the City of Muskogee will receive sealed bids in the Office of the City Clerk at the Muskogee Municipal Building, 229 West Okmulgee, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74401, up to March 7, 2016 2:00 p.m. on for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work necessary for: ANNUAL BID PROPOSAL EMERGENCY WATER MAIN REPAIRS ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT Bidders must bid on all items of the contract. The whole work under this contract will be awarded as a single contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the work. No bid may be withdrawn for at least forty five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The documents are on file and can be seen and obtained at is available at the Purchasing Department City of Muskogee, 229 W Okmulgee St, Muskogee, OK 74403. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond, or Cashier’s Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, payable without reserve to the City of Muskogee, Oklahoma, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security of the two low bidders will be retained until approval of contract and execution of satisfactory bonds by the successful bidder, or until other disposition on the bids is made. The bonds required will be a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond and a Maintenance Bond each in the full amount of the contract. The City will not accept letters of credit in lieu of any bond required herein. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M, March 3, 2016 on 3rd floor Council Chambers at City Hall of Muskogee, 229 W Okmulgee St, Muskogee, OK 74403. The bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the bid and proposal form including completion of affidavits or his bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected. The City may request of any bidder, before his bid is considered for award, that he/she submit a statement of facts as to his previous experience in performing work of the same character and magnitude, as to his business and technical organization, and financial resources and plant available and to be use in performing the contemplated work. Each bidder must have such information, together with a recent financial statement, available upon request.
